	On 1-2 September 2007, Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Technical Delegates visited Bali for Asian Beach Games I 2008 venue inspections led by Wei Jizhong (The Chairman of OCA Sport Commission) to assess all the competition venues based on the standards set out by OCA. The Technical Delegates also attended the coordination meeting with Bali Asian Beach Games Organizing Committee (BABGOC). The result of the 1st Joint Meeting was then announced in a press conference in front of media in Bali on the same day.
